Safety at Roadway Electric

Safety guides how Roadway Electric plans, manages and performs work. Our safety program depends on active employee involvement, clear expectations and a shared commitment to sending everyone home safely.

Roadway Electric has achieved exceptional safety performance, including zero lost-time incidents and zero OSHA recordable incidents in recent years. That record produced a 0.00 Total Recordable Incident Rate and 0.00 Lost Time Incident Rate in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2025.  We strive for zero job-related injuries and illnesses by building safety into every operation. Our management team supports this commitment through planning, training, accountability and field leadership. Roadway Electric maintains safety policies and procedures that meet, and often exceed, OSHA standards. Employees receive training to plan work safely, recognize unsafe conditions or behaviors and take corrective action when conditions change.

Supervisors participate in ongoing training to strengthen their safety management skills and reinforce safe work practices in the field. All new employees complete an introductory safety orientation before beginning work.

Roadway Electric also treats safety communication as an essential part of the work. Teams use daily pre-shift briefings, weekly toolbox meetings and monthly project-wide safety meetings to review hazards, coordinate activities and keep safety expectations clear. These conversations help our teams stay ready, speak up when they see risk and make safety the standard on every Roadway Electric project.
